Volunteer as a CASA Advocate

The CASA Advocate has three roles:

• To serve as a fact-finder for the judge by thoroughly researching the background of each assigned case;
• To speak for the child in the courtroom, representing the child’s best interests; and
• To continue to act as a “watchdog” for the child during the life of the case, ensuring that it is brought to a swift and appropriate conclusion.

3. Make a tax deductible donation to our program to help support our operations.
   
4. Have a friend or family member that seems to have it all? Contribute in their name and we will send them a certificate and information about the investment made to our program to help abused and neglected children.
   
5. Refer a friend to our program who you think would make a good CASA volunteer.
   
6. Send in a gas card to help our volunteers in their travels.
   
7. Help us in other areas of the program. Have a gift in decorating or public relations. What ever it may be we could use your talent.
   
8. Own a business, consider providing us with a gift certificate to use in our Volunteer Recognition program.
   
9. Make CASA a recipient in your will or bequest.
   
10. 10.Tell everyone you know about CASA. This helps us to spread the word about what we do in order to raise community awareness about child abuse and neglect in Franklin County.
